Bandit 1250 Undertail Inner Fender Trimming Tips

After reading the instruction sheet with the kit, remove the entire inner fender and trim as shown. Keep in mind that the undertail has to fit up against the inner fender when it is reinstalled back on the bike.

Be sure not to cut off the 4 mounting tabs as shown.

Test fit the undertail against the inner fender as shown.

After test fit is complete, clean up all edges of the cut plastic with hand held sander, then reinstall the inner fender on bike.

Mark and drill the two license plate bracket mounting holes, then mount up the bracket before installing the undertail. Use the original bracket bolts, washers and nuts to bolt it up. Be sure to use a few drops of blue thread lock on the mounting bolts. Solder and shrink tube all blinker and tag light wire connections.
