Remove the mirror stem from base, and the base from the fairing.

Line up and install the base in the mirror extension fully seating the rubber properly, then clean the fairing mounting surface.  Note!  The extensions are machined to work on either the left or right side.

Apply a few drops of blue thread lock to the provided stainless mounting bolts, install as shown snugging down evenly a little at a time. Note!  Holding the base while doing so will help to prevent it from shifting on the extension.

Re-install the mirror stem with washers to the base as shown, then tighten to the desired amount. Install the bolt head caps or leave them off to show the nice stainless hardware. Repeat these steps to install the other side.
