Holeshot FZ1 Steering Damper Kit

The FZ1 can shake its head pretty good if you're a aggressive rider or do occasional track days. This can mostly happen when you're hard on the throttle and get the front end light. When the front tire touches back down it's wobble time. The Holeshot FZ1 steering damper kit will cure this problem, making the bike more stable without getting in a tank slapper or you getting big eyes from hanging on for your life.

The Holeshot damper itself is a quality unit made in Japan with 7 available click adjustments from soft to heavy. Dales design is a side mount that does not restrict the riders movement, the gas tank or installing lower bars like a top mount style damper can. This also allowed us to keep the price at a reasonable level. The kit is a direct bolt on without any modifications to the bike whatsoever. All the mounting components are computer machined from air craft 6061-T6 aluminum, then black anodized to protect them from the elements and to give them a very clean look. Stainless steel mounting hardware is inlcuded as well as easy to follow instructions.

Front mounting clamp is neat and tidy and nicely tucked behind the fairing (click images to enlarge).

Dales rear mount design clamps the left frame brace tube securely, its very clean, strong and requires no drilling to install.

This photo shows that there is plenty of engine clearance to the Damper body.
