These installation tip photos are to be used as a helpful guide in conjunction with the Dales written instructions you received with your new Holeshot FZ1 Steering damper kit.

Remove left fairing panel

This is the damper front mounting clamp installed; position and measure per instruction sheet as shown.

Position the rear damper bracket as shown then measure set up per the instruction sheet.

Adjusting the body clamp on the damper before installing it on the bike.

The rear mounting point is assembled as shown. Be sure the tapered end of the spacer goes towards the damper body clamp per the instructions.

The front mounting point is assembled as shown. Be sure the tapered end of the spacer goes towards the rod end ball of the damper per the instructions.

This is what it should look like when set up and adjusted correctly.

This shows the fork stop contacting with the bars fully turned to the locked position as covered in step # 7 of the instruction sheet.
