Dale's new Eliminator Holeshot Slip-ons remove the entire canister box and original mufflers. They easily bolt up to the stock location, drop 13 lbs. of unwanted weight and sound nice and throaty without being too noisy. And boy do they make it run.

"Dear Dale,
I wanted to drop you a line to let you know just how happy I am with the modifications you recommended and made on my ZL-1000 Eliminator.
Its easy to buy parts out of a catalog, but the overall package must work together, or the project can end up running worse than it did prior to any of the modifications.
I wanted my bike to have more torque and more top end. I wanted it to have a grumbling exhaust, but not one that would be too loud. Your Exhaust System and Stage 1 Kit provide increased torque and horsepower throughout the entire powerband. The power increase is easy to feel on every ride. The look quality of construction is state of the art. And the sound!!!...the rumble sounds just like power.
Handling needed to be improved in terms of better control and a smoother ride. Based on my short legs, a lower ride height would be an added plus. Your Progressive fork springs, Superbrace fork brace and a short Progressive rear shocks provided the performance and comfort improvements I needed.
Trying to accomplish the above would normally take me years, cost me way too much money and require a machine shop to make everything fit. The extra parts accumulated through trial and error could almost build another bike.
The bottom line is in one conversation with Holeshot, all of the above was taken care of...AND the package improves the OVERALL performance of the bike in every way. The ZL-1000 is now a much better bike than it ever was. I don't know of a power cruiser made today that I would prefer over my 12 year old Kawasaki.
