Note: These numbered photos are to be used as a guide in conjunction with the written instruction sheet supplied with the kit. Be sure to review all photos before you start the installation.

Remove fuel tank, left side panel and air box making note of hoses and plugs. Collapsing the front velocity stack makes it much easier to remove the air box. Note! Front stack remains clamped to the throttle body.

Remove hose from air box that leads to PAIR valve, cap off both open nipples with vacuum cap and nylon ties. These are available at most auto parts stores.

This step will eliminate any decel popping.

Mount TFI tuning box as shown, then neatly route wiring harness on left side of frame up near the injectors.

Locate the injector plugs on lower throttle bodies and unplug both as shown. This is a little tight so take your time and have a buddy help you. Be sure to fully compress the lock tab before tugging on the outer plug.

Piggy back TFI tuning box plugs into the original wiring harness injectors plugs.

Insert the other two TFI box wiring harness plugs into the corresponding injector connector plugs as shown.

Be sure to match up the correct plugs.

Re-install the air box being sure the front velocity stack is totally seated in the holding groove, a little lube (i.e. Armor All) works wonders. Be sure to re-connect plugs and rear hose, as well as large right front breather hose not shown.

Connect the black ground wire with attached eye connector, to the negative battery terminal as shown.

Completely re-assemble your bike, then begin your TFI box tune up.
