Dales Holeshot SV-1000 slip-ons are a real work of art and totally hand crafted in house. They really wake your 2003-2007 model bike up and have the perfect exhaust note.
Our 17" high flow street core mufflers offer a nice smooth V-Twin rumble without being too loud in the lower revs or during light throttle application. The exhaust note comes alive at wide open throttle and puts out that beautiful sound that the SV-1000 is known for.
The canister shells are made from high grade 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum as well as the perfect fitting computer machined front muffler adapters. The rear end caps and turn down tips are hand constructed from high grade 304 stainless steel then highly polished. The mufflers come fully polished or in our powder black finish with polished end caps .The Holeshot SV-1000 slip-ons bolt on in minutes utilizing custom stainless band clamps and high grade hardware.
Most SV-650 /1000s run pretty well when adding a slip-on if you stick with the original air filter, but if you want to really smooth out the power curve, ad more mid range and top end power, along with very good fuel mileage, Dale highly recommends the TFI tuning box. He has been TFI tuning the DLs for two years now with great results. This is a much easier way to dial in your EFI than any other method and dyno tuning and re-mapping are not necessary. Strapped to Dales in house Dynojet 250I rear wheel dyno the SV really showed some nice power gains with the Holeshot slip-ons installed. It picked up 2 to 4 HP between 2200 to 4700 rpm and 3 to 5 ft-lbs of real world usable torque in this same area. It made about 2 HP and 2 ft- lbs everywhere else in the rpm band. Dale was very please with these final results considering you can expect more when adding the TFI Tuning Box.
