Dale's 3rd generation Holeshot 4-2 V-Max exhaust system is now hand crafted from US premium grade polished 304 air craft stainless steel. This exhaust offers superior power, torque and ground clearance over the older 4-1 or 4-1-2 designs. The 4-2 big tube primary design and tapered CNC machined port spigots make all the difference in making big power and arm stretching torque. Dale's tucked up design offers great ground clearance and the 14" Comp 1 Holeshot mufflers look super clean. Oil and filter are more accessible and the center stand can be retained if desired with optional stop kit. The Holeshot stainless 4-2 system is also 25 lbs. lighter than the stock exhaust. Dale tested and developed this pipe design for nearly a year to offer outstanding performance, and also to insure a beautiful, symmetrical look from each side of the bike. As far as sound goes, all we can say is it's one bad pipe with a big block Chevy rumble. The installation is also much easier than the previous 4-1 header system.
The Holeshot 4-2 rear view looks super clean and symmetrical. It offers that authentic muscle bike look Holeshot Performance is known for. The 14" Holeshot comp mufflers are hand assembled in-house from 6061-T6 aluminum for the canisters and 304 stainless for the front and no turndown tip rear end cap. The rear end cap now comes standard with the Holeshot bullet logo laser etch mark. The Holeshot logo side plate is an added option upon request. Custom stainless band clamps and hardware are included.
Note! Though the Holeshot V-Max 4-2 header clears the center stand and the mounts do not have to be trimmed off the frame, Dale still really recommends removing it. The pipe is tucked up so well that is makes the center stand totally visible, and real ugly. What we recommend is for home tuning simply to slide the center stand into place, pop in the two pivot bolts by hand and put it up on the stand. This can be done in minutes for normal oil changes or washing the bike etc. So dont order the stop kit unless you really think you have to have it.
Note! Permatex Ultra Copper High Temp Silicone is required when installing our exhaust systems and our polishes should also be used. See Below.
